My name is Marcellis and my pronouns are he/him/his. My passion is in uplifting the stories of marginalized voices, particularly those who are Black and Queer identified. I believe in questioning norms, standards, and general practices within the theatre and leading with empathy and curiosity. I’m proud to look back on my work and see a majority of Black identified characters that are unique, varied, and have given me something to hold on to in the long-term.

I’ve recently joined the Broadway Advocacy Coalition as a Facilitator working toward building equity, diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility in the theatre workspace and beyond.

I can be found exploring, creating, and playing in Manhattan, New York and am always looking for the next adventure.
